Sunset Cruise

Settled into our hotel room we headed to Quonset Point, N. Kingstown, RI to take in the Lighthouse Cruises & Newport Harbor Tours.  A 95-minute tour showcasing ten lighthouses, ten islands, other popular sites and 60 miles of coastline detailed with historical facts and folklore.

3 Sisters Go on a Road Trip

Off to Newport, Rhode Island for our two-day road trip.  First stop of course had to do with food!  Tiverton, RI to visit Evelyn's Drive-Inn known for its clam chowder (as stated by the show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives).

Boston Bound!

Later this afternoon I head to Boston with my sister Tricia to hang out with our sister Tamsen and her family. Sooooo excited!!!! Be back in 11 days!!!!

18 Months in the Making

Two Super Saturday's ago (yes you read that correctly).  I signed up to make a new family home evening chart but I was also teaching a class so needless to say I never got to mine.  Well...... 18 months later and I've finally completed it and also remembered why I don't often do these kinds of crafts!!  That said I'm very happy with how it turned out!

WICKED!

A few months back tickets were purchased for my sister Tricia, my sister-in-law Nikki and myself to attend Wicked. How could one have ever guessed that that same night would end up being Game 7 of the Stanley Cup? Vancouver against Boston IN Vancouver!! Last night this is what we experienced:

This is what we witnessed just prior to going into the theatre. Thousands of hockey fans out on the streets watching 'the game' on the big screen.

This was our whole purpose for being downtown! A fantastic show!

Bear Sighting

Sitting in the living room talking on the phone I glanced out the window and saw a bear walking through a neighbours yard and then across the street.

By the time I grabbed my ipod and figured out how to take a picture (closest camera available) the bear was getting ready to enter the bushes!
