Not sure if anyone is paying attention to the heat wave we're getting in BC but it's been HOT HOT HOT!! This week the average has probably been about 35 degrees celcius (and warmer) but add the humidity and we're looking at about 40 to 42 degrees celcius. Temperatures that we're not use to and temperatures that keep breaking records.
So what have we been doing to keep cool? The kids and I have been heading to Alouette River (only about a 5 minute drive from our house). They swim, splash, float while I usually read a book but am also known to float down the river too. Check it out.
