We first stopped at Porteau Cove Provincial Park where we were stopped by a vehicle asking if we'd like their day pass as they were heading out (there really are some great folks out in the world). Once parked we then bumped into a photo shoot taking place right above the boat launch. The car was fancy and the model wasn't wearing much!
The tide was wayyyyy out there
I love the look of driftwood
Auntie & Adrianna on the pier
I LOVE the smell of a pier. Between the wood and salt water I don't know which is better. Brings back good childhood memories when we'd head to the island.

Onto Shannon Falls!
heading up to the platform
BEAUTIFUL!

We stopped in Squamish for a late lunch then it was back on the road again to Whistler! Once there our first stop was at a small wooden playground - pretty cool (there is construction going on behind it for the Olympics)!
Our next great find was Expressions Art Studio. The kids and auntie each picked out a ceramic piece to paint. It was stink'n hot in the studio but they seemed to have fun working on their projects!
Auntie and the kids working hard at creating!

Now we're just waiting for the phone call to have the items picked up (they ship to their Vancouver store free of charge)!!
Strolling through Whistler there is lots of shopping and lots of people watching especially at the base of the mountain. This is also where one can watch the bikers come down the hill. Adrianna would love to do this but I'm thinking mastering our local hills first might be an idea!
After checking out all that we wanted to see we had one more stop to make........the candy shop. PERFECT treat for the ride home!
Mountain peaks on our way home
just get better and better
as the sunsets
We stopped at Porteau Cove for one last look........
